Peter Gadiot (Yellowjackets, Queen of the South) and The 100 star Eliza Taylor are boarding NBC’s Quantum Leap reboot as series regulars for its upcoming second season.

The show, which stars Raymond Lee in the lead, picks up thirty years after the original 1990s series’ events, in which Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now, a new team has been assembled to restart the project in hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the technology and the man who created it.

The first season followed as Ben Song (Lee) jumped from host to host with Addison (Caitlin Bassett) aiding him from the modern world, with the help of Ian (Mason Alexander Park) and Herbert “Magic” Williams (Ernie Hudson).

In this new season, Gadiot will portray Tom Westfall, a U.S. Army Officer and former special forces who is now high up the ranks in Army Intelligence. Eliza Taylor, meanwhile, will play Hannah Carson, who is described as a “complex young woman who may be more than she appears”.

The Season 2 premiere of Quantum Leap also features an impressive guest cast including Melissa Roxburgh (Manifest), Francois Arnaud, Aaron Abrams (Hannibal), and The Boys’ P.J. Byrne. Martin Gero serves as executive producer along with Dean Georgaris, Don Bellisario, Deborah Pratt, Chris Grismer, Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt.

Season 2 of Quantum Leap premieres on October 4th.
