Columbia Pictures, the people behind David Fincher’s (pointless) remake of Niels Oplev’s 2009 Swedish smash The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, have released a new poster and trailer for the eagerly (really?) awaited film. 

Starring Daniel Craig (originally Michael Nyqvist) and Rooney Mara (originally Noomi Rapace) as Journalist Mikael Blomkvist and Hacker Lisbeth Salander, the studio have gone all out to shock with the above, somewhat racy image. Given the fate that befalls Salander in the film I’m sure this image will stoke lively debate. (Ignoring the film for a minute the poster kind of makes me hope we get to see Bond with a feisty temptress not seen since the days of Grace Jones’ Mayday – just me? Oh well…)
