We’re actually surprised this took that long considering a.) Hollywood are leaving no stone unturned in their hunger to seek out new comic book properties to exploit adapt, and b.) TURF is bloody amazing!

Originally published by Image comics in 2010 and collected in trade paperback earlier this year, the Tommy Lee Edwards illustrated and Jonathan Ross penned period piece features prohibition era gangters defending their ‘turf’ against an invading vampire family. And aliens.

We sincerely hope production company Benderspick, who wisely optioned the rights for the movie version today, are able to make this happen as soon as possible.

We’ll have more on this as it develops…
