It’s being reported by Variety that Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming adaptation of Mark Millar’s THE SECRET SERVICE has found its Gary. Newcomer Taron Egerton has apparently snagged the role.

Based on the original work of Millar and Dave Gibbons, THE SECRET SERVICE focuses on a British secret agent, Jake, who recruits his rebellious nephew Gary to join him. It’s been confirmed that Colin Firth will be playing Jake, with Michael Caine also confirmed for the film, not to mention Mark Hamill in talks to play himself.

Due to start production next month, THE SECRET SERVICE is set for a 14th November, 2014 release.
