There’s been plenty of talk of a PROMETHEUS 2 happening, even a PROMETHEUS 3, but it appears the next stage in the series will take shape in the form of a comic book. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Dark Horse will be producing a PROMETHEUS comic, which will look to explore the link to the ALIEN series of films.

At present, more news is set to be revealed at San Diego’s Comic-Con event in two weeks.

Will the comic books serve as a link between PROMETHEUS and PROMETHEUS 2? Will the comic book just be a standalone story? Does this possibly mean PROMETHEUS 2 is now not such a certainty? I guess we’ll have to wait until Comic-Con for further details.
