With just over a month to go before the eagerly-awaited sequel opens (well, in Spain at least), the makers of 3: GENESIS have released a brand new Valentine’s themed trailer for us to enjoy. Ahhh, bless ’em! In all seriousness, while this could have just been a bit of a remix of past teasers, it’s actually the best look at the film so far with plenty of new footage. Though one thing continues to disturb (and it’s not the sight of people’s faces being ripped off)… the break from the traditional documentary format is very jarring, particularly for a franchise named after it. We really hope director Paco Plaza and co. can pull this off. Anyhoo, check out the promo below and let us know what you think…

Here’s the official synopsis if you missed it the first time…

“Koldo and Clara are about to celebrate the most important day of their lives: their wedding. 

Everything appears to be running smoothly and the bride and groom and their families are enjoying a wonderful day; that is until some of the guests start showing signs of a strange illness. Before they know what’s happening, the bride and groom find themselves in the middle of a hellish ordeal, as an uncontrollable torrent of violence is unleashed on the wedding. 

Amidst the chaos, Koldo and Clara become separated and begin a desperate search for one another. What started off as an idyllic day quickly descends into a nightmare of the worst kind…“
