As part of our recent interview with Mark Millar, we had to ask 20th Century Fox’s Marvel consultant about X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and any upcoming Marvel pictures. Millar revealed that he hasn’t been too involved with Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and James Mangold’s THE WOLVERINE. Instead, he’s been working on something much bigger…

Millar revealed, “So I’ve been focussing on what comes next… I’ve been talking to the guys, to Josh Trank who’s doing FANTASTIC FOUR, there’s a lot of characters that come with X-Men as well, so we’re talking about expanding into other things, all building to this very cool storyline that I’ve got planned for 2016.”

There’s definite hints of a crossover (possibly with the X-Men and the Fantastic Four ?), and it raises a few more tantalising possibilities. Will the now-confirmed X-Force movie come into play? Could the vast range of characters that come with the X-Men rights be expanded on and fully utilised? Whatever the answer, we’re looking forward to 2016!
