Deadline is reporting that Legendary Pictures and Universal have added two more names to Duncan Jones’ WARCRAFT. Joining Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Toby Kebbell, Rob Kazinsky and Paula Patton, we’ve now got Daniel Wu (above left) and Clancy Brown (right) on board for the video game adaptation. Wu is best known for his roles in NIGHT CORRIDOR and NEW POLICE STORY, whereas Brown is most famous for the likes of HIGHLANDER, LOST, THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION and providing various voices, most notably Lex Luthor, in a plethora of DC and Marvel productions.

As well as the confirmed cast members, there are heavy rumours surrounding Dominic Cooper and Colin Farrell joining the project. Cooper is said to be in advanced talks to join, whilst Farrell has openly admitted to reading the script and being massively impressed by it.

A WORLD OF WARCRAFT movie was first announced back in 2006, with Sam Raimi then attached to direct. After Raimi left the adaptation, MOON’s Duncan Jones was given the gig. Adapting the hugely popular online multiplayer game that features the likes of elves, dwarves and orcs is quite the huge task. Charles Levitt has penned the script and production is due to commence early next year.

At present, WARCRAFT is set for an 11th March, 2016 release.
