Not to be outdone by all the DARK KNIGHT RISES pics hitting today (peep ’em HERE), Zack Synder’s MAN OF STEEL also has a new image to show off.

It may be a leaked set pic rather than the aforementioned studio endorsed shiny ones, but it’s nonetheless rather nifty, and goes a long way to hint at the scale of action that awaits.

How the hell do you suppose this ended up in a state like that? A game of catch between Supes and Zod gone awry? The Man of Steel displaying his distaste at Michael Bay’s TRANSFORMERS 3?
