Latino Review is reporting that Billie Lourd is the latest name to join J.J. Abrams’ STAR WARS: EPISODE VII. The 21-year-old Lourd is the daughter of Carrie Fisher and Bryan Lourd, and she has no acting experience to her name.

Just what role Lourd will play is being kept under wraps at this stage, although it’s presumed it will only be a small cameo appearance of sorts. Still, the offspring of Leia and Han Solo are to feature in EPISODE VII, so is it possible that Lourd may be playing one of the younger Solos?

Lourd joins a cast that features Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Kenny Baker as R2-D2, and unconfirmed roles for the likes of Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Domnhall Gleeson, John Boyega, Max Von Sydow and Gwendoline Christie.

EPISODE VII is currently set for an 18th December, 2015 release, although a recent on-set injury to Ford may end up pushing that release back.
