The slow trickle of set pics from the Captain America sequel THE WINTER SOLDIER has already revealed quick looks at Cap’ and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, (although none of Robert Redford yet), however the latest collection of on-set photos have revealed the appearance of the Winter Soldier himself in more detail than has been seen before! Check them out below…

In the superhero sequel The Winter Soldier is a mysterious Russian agent with ties to Captain America’s past who Cap, Black Widow and Anthony Mackie’s Falcon need to team up to take down.

While The Winter Solider’s planned look was previously shown in concept art this is the first real look we’ve had at him in the flesh and his look is surprisingly faithful to the comic book.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER is set for a 4th April, 2014 release.
