Our friends at Grimm Up North have a tasty treat lined up for you this Easter, with a “Mini Grimmfest” at the glorious Art Deco surroundings of The Stockport Plaza.

Prepare yourself for:

Tuesday 26th March – INTRUDER – Scott Spiegel’s often overlooked gory 80s gem, with Bruce Campbell and Sam and Ted Raimi, showing with the North West première of respected genre writer (and the brains behind many of the Arrow video extra features) Callum Waddell’s documentary SLICE AND DICE: THE SLASHER FILM FOREVER which includes interviews with many of the genre’s greats.

Thursday 28th March – ENTITY – another North West première, with director Steve Stone on hand to talk about the making of this new supernatural horror, set in Russia. Also showing I DIDN’T COME HERE TO DIE (UK premiere)

Thursday 4th April – A David Cronenberg double bill with THE BROOD and SCANNERS getting a rare big screen outing in their new HD remastered versions.

Tickets for each event are £8, available from the Plaza website

Or, you can save money and buy a multi-pass for £20. (This is only available by calling the Stockport Plaza box office on 0161 477 7779 and quoting “MINI GRIMMFEST OFFER”)

Multi-pass holders will also receive a goodie bag containing a DVD, T-shirt, poster and magazine.
