It’s only taken seven months, but Marvel’s Agent Carter has, at long last, found a UK broadcaster! And it’s not Channel 4.

No, indeed, for FOX UK has secured the British rights to the first season which will premiere in July.

Managing Director of FOX International Channels (FIC) UK, Jeff Ford, said of the acquisition: “Marvel’s Agent Carter is blockbuster Hollywood entertainment at its best. With high production values and a stellar UK and international cast, the series is the perfect addition to FOX UK’s summer line-up, continuing the channel’s commitment to bring exclusive, original and breakthrough series to a UK audience.

Starring Hayley Atwell as post-war S.S.R (a proto S.H.I.E.L.D.) agent Peggy Carter, the series also stars Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, and James D’Arcy as Jarvis, Stark’s butler.

ABC has already renewed Marvel’s Agent Carter for a ten-episode second season, which will air in the US in early 2016.
