Indie
comic book creator Kathryn Calamia, who is better known for her comics review
channel Comic Uno,
has launched a crowdfunding campaign to get the next instalment of her superhero
comic produced.

Like Father, Like Daughter is the
story of a teenage girl (Casey) whose father left her at a young age to become
a full time superhero (Invulnerable). Casey discovers that she’s inherited
superpowers from her deadbeat dad, something that Casey isn’t terribly
comfortable with.

Issue 2 promises to challenge a
number of superhero comic tropes whilst also delivering some high drama and
comic book action. The Kickstarter for Issue
1
was highly successful and it’s looking likely that this will do just as
well.

Daughter
