Ben Aldridge and Jonathan Groff have been tapped to star in M. Night Shyamalan’s highly-anticipated next feature, Knock at the Cabin, Deadline reports . The pair joins a growing cast that so far includes Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy), Rupert Grint (Harry Potter franchise, Shyamalan’s Servant series) and Nikki Amuka-Bird (Old, Jupiter Ascending).

As with anything Shyamalan, plot details are being kept under strict lock and key for the foreseeable future, so we don’t know what sort of roles Aldridge and Groff might play. However, Bloody Disgusting reports that Knock at the Cabin is a “home invasion horror film that takes place during the apocalypse… akin to Paul Tremblay’s Cabin at the End of the World. It certainly sounds intriguing.

Aldridge is best known for starring as Thomas Wayne in the ongoing series Pennyworthbased on the Batman DC Comics. Meanwhile, Groff held the lead role in David Fincher’s critically-acclaimed Netflix series Mindhunter, and was more recently seen in The Matrix Resurrections opposite co-stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss.

Knock at the Cabin is due to be released February 3rd, 2023.
