With The Flash having already added some of the Scarlet Speedster’s most (in)famous rogues ahead of the show’s third season, yet another DC villain has been added to The CW’s Grant Gustin-starrer.

It’s been confirmed that Joey King will be playing Magenta in the show, with the blurb on the character reading: A teen with a troubled past, Frances “Frankie” Kane is a meta-human with the ability to control metal… but her powers come with a dangerous side-effect, causing her villainous alter ego known as Magenta to emerge.

King, best known for roles in The Dark Knight Rises, Fargo and Independence Day: Resurgence, will appear in the third episode of The Flash’s upcoming season. In terms of the comic book incarnation of Magenta, that’s a character who debuted in 1982 initially as a Teen Titans villain.

The Flash will premiere its third season on October 3rd.
