One of the favourite films of recent years for many of us here at Moonbase Alpha is Lowell Dean’s WolfCop. When we spoke to the director last year, he mentioned that there were already plans in place for a sequel to his massively enjoyable alcoholic, furball lawman romp… and now comes word that the sequel is now ‘a thing’ and ready to go.

Lowell and his crew have launched an Indiegogo campaign for WolfCop 2, with the film actually already financed and ready to shoot. Okay, so what do they need to launch a crowd-funding campaign for, we hear you ask? Well, the answer to that is simply that they’re looking to expand the film a little with some celebrity cameos. Those pesky celebrities, however, cost money.

Here’s Lowell and his production team explaining things more clearly:

At present the campaign has 15 days left to run and has already raised nearly $7,000 of its $30,000 goal at the time of writing this. From what we’ve seen so far, this sequel promises to take everything that was so awesome about WolfCop and amp it up to 11.
