With Season 6 on the way for next year, Game of Thrones has added Ian McShane to its ranks.

Production is already underway on the next season, although the former Lovejoy and Deadwood star’s role is being kept secret at this stage.

A report from EW claims that the actor “has a relatively small amount of screen-time during the season, yet his character is of key importance.”

Game of Thrones will return in the first half of next year, so now let the speculation run rampant on just who McShane will be playing when the show returns to our screens.
