Harrison Ford has had an Indiana Jones type escape when the small plane he was flying suffered an engine failure and crash landed on a golf course.

The STAR WARS star, just this week confirmed for a BLADE RUNNER return is said to be “Battered by OK” according to his son Ben who tweeted an update on his condition. The 72-year-old actor has serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

Ford was flying his kit, P-22 aeroplane out of Santa Monica airport, made a miraculous crash landing at the Penn Mar golf course in Santa Monica, California after experiencing the problem soon after take-off. It sounds like the man who made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs still has some slick moves in him.

STARBURST staff and readers send him our good wishes and thoughts.
