Upcoming thriller Hangman has brought in a couple of big names in the shape of Al Pacino and Karl Urban.

Variety is reporting that the pair have joined the serial killer-driven effort, and that Prom Night’s Brittany Snow has also signed on for the film. Pacino will be playing a decorated homicide detective, whilst Urban will be a criminal profiler. The pair work together to try and catch a killer who’s been tormenting the city with a twisted version of the children’s game, Hangman. As for Brittany Snow, she’ll be a crime journalist who is working with Pacino and Urban.

Vengeance: A Love Story’s Johnny Martin is directing Hangman, which has yet to be given a confirmed release date. Shooting on the picture starts November 17th in Atlanta, Georgia.
