How do you top Halloween when you’re a dedicated horror TV station? With Hammer Double Bills, that’s how!

November on Horror Channel promises yet another fantastic month of the sick and macabre as British institution Hammer Films are celebrated in stunning fashion with an old-style double bill season to keep you warm in front of the TV on a Saturday night.

Kicking off the season of mostly Network Premieres on November 7th is The Curse of the Werewolf (1961) in which Oliver Reed plays the unfortunate Leon, who transforms into a ferocious monster every full moon. This is coupled with the atmospheric classic The Gorgon (1964).
November 14th sees The Revenge of Frankenstein (1958) doubled with The Two Faces of Doctor Jekyll (1960), and The Evil of Frankenstein (1964) with The Brides of Dracula (1960) face-off on November 21st. The season ends on November 28th with the fantastical Night Creatures (aka Captain Clegg), with Peter Cushing in swashbuckling good form and the voluptuous Valerie Leon starring in Blood from the Mummy’s Tomb (1971).
Also screening during the month are the UK TV Premieres of the shocking remake of I Spit on Your Grave (2010), and its 2013 sequel, plus Nothing Left to Lose (2013), produced by guitar legend Slash.
There’s also a chance to catch another werewolf tale in the form of the Stephen King adaptation Silver Bullet (1985).

Horror Channel is available on SKY 319, Virgin 149, Freeview 70, Freesat 138 and TalkTalk 487. You can find out more at the Horror Channel website.
