If Gen V feels like it’s been a long time coming, that’s because it has been. It’s been a full three years since Eric Kripke announced this The Boys spinoff series, set at a prestigious superhero-only college – if this were set in the UK, these horny supes would have graduated already. Finally though, Gen V premieres on Prime Video with three episodes on September 29th; ahead of which, they have released another full-length trailer to whet fans’ appetites.

Set in the diabolical world of The Boys, Gen V expands the universe to Godolkin University, the Vought-sponsored college where students train to be the next generation of heroes. Beyond the typical college chaos of finding oneself and partying, these kids are facing explosive situations… literally. And some are involved in something more sinister yet.

The series cast includes Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi. Gen V also features guest stars Clancy Brown and Jason Ritter, as well as appearances from Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit and P.J. Byrne, who are reprising their roles from The Boys.
