With Stephen Amell having recently been added as Casey Jones, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has now found its Bebop.

Deadline is reporting that The Boondocks’ Gary Anthony Williams will be playing the humanoid warthog who made his debut in the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon that first hit screens in 1987. Much like the cartoon version, TMNT 2’s Bebop will initially be a part of Shredder’s gang before become the trigger-happy warthog. The character made his comic book debut alongside Rocksteady, and whilst the humanoid rhino will also appear in the film he’s yet to be cast. Both Bebop and Rocksteady were under consideration for last year’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, with concept art even leaking out of the pair (with the Bebop art shown alongside Williams in the above picture).

Already confirmed to return for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 are Megan Fox, Will Arnett, William Fichtner, Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek and Noel Fisher. As well as Stephen Amell having been added, Brian Tee is taking over the Shredder role, and Tyler Perry has also been brought in as Baxter Stockman.

To be directed by David Green, TMNT 2 is currently set for a June 3rd, 2016 release.
