Friday May 20th, 4pm – Robot Overlords (2014)
Bad guy Ben Kingsley commands a horde of robots in this family-friendly sci-fi action-thriller. Gillian Anderson is there to help the locals fend off the menace. The film also boasts some rather spectacular effects considering its budget! Also showing on Saturday at 8am.
Saturday May 21st, 9pm – The Changeling (1980)
George C. Scott stars in this classic supernatural horror as a composer who moves from New York to Seattle following the death of his wife and daughter, only he’s not alone in his new house.
Sunday May 22nd, 9pm – 12.10am The Vintage Vault
Horror Channel is celebrating the Golden Age of genre cinema with a season of double bills. There are more fifties chills this week with the Universal sequel Revenge of the Creature (1955), in which aliens take over the bodies of local folk in a desert town. This is followed by It Came from Outer Space (1953), where aliens land on Earth and take over the bodies of the residents of a sleepy desert town.
