Slasher horror film House of Holloway has wrapped shooting in Kentucky. The latest movie from Alex Kahuam (Failure!) stars Laura Marano (The Perfect Date), the legendary Doug Jones (The Shape of Water) as well as Orlando Piñeda (Griselda) and Bonnie Aarons (The Nun).
The story focuses on a family of serial killers who play a twisted psychological game where they compete to murder six guests at their home. Along the way, secrets of their legacy are revealed.

The film is co-written by Kahuam and Anthony Pallino. Speaking to Variety, Alex said: “The production of this film was tough. We were hit by one of the biggest snow storms in recent history. I’m so deeply grateful for all our cast and crew who didn’t give up on the most challenging weather conditions. Talking of the cast, he said, “Laura Marano is a brilliant lead actress who set an amazing tone with the rest of the cast. She is so talented and an incredible person – we couldn’t have done this without her. It was great to work again with the outstanding Doug Jones and for the first time with the incredible Bonnie Aarons. We had a lot of fun.”
House of Holloway is currently in post-production, but Kahuam has another film ready to hit festivals this year. The Remedy also features popular creature actor Doug Jones, and stars Timothy Granadoeros (13 Reasons Why).
We’ll have more on House of Holloway in due course.
