A getaway with her boyfriend turns into a nightmare for a young woman (Matilda Lutz) when his friends turn up. Interesting rape-revenge thriller directed by Coralie Fargeat.

Wednesday August 24th, 4pm – Warlords of Atlantis (1978)
Doug McClure and Peter Gilmore find themselves in the lost continent and have to face hostile locals and giant beasts. Fun fantasy from director Kevin Connor. (Also screening at 11am on Thursday and 6.35pm on Sunday.)

Friday August 26th, 11pm – From the Dark (2014)
Irish scares from Stitches director Conor McMahon. A couple are stranded in dark rural area and are stalked by a creature that doesn’t like the light.

Saturday August 27th, 9pm – Codename Geronimo (1967)
Inspired by real events, this action-packed drama focuses on a group of Navy SEALS who are hunting Osama bin Laden.

Sunday August 14th, 9pm – 12.50am The Vintage Vault
Legend continues to celebrate the Golden Age of genre cinema with a season of double bills. This week, there are a pair of superb gory shockers starting with John Carpenter’s shape-shifting alien classic The Thing (1982), starring Kurt Russell. This is followed by some David Cronenberg’s body horror in Videodrome (1983), in which TV producer James Woods discovers an underground show that alters his reality.
