Monday October 17th, 6pm – Star Trek: The Next Generation

The ever-popular series returns with the pilot episode Encounter at Farpoint. As well as meeting Picard and company for the first time, it’s also our introduction to the mischievous Q (John de Lancie).

Monday October 17th, 8pm – Walker, Texas Ranger

The original hard man Chuck Norris stars in this long-running crime series based on the 1983 film Lone Wolf McQuade. The cult show starts a run from the very first episode, originally broadcast in 1993.

Wednesday October 19th, 11pm – Devil (2010)

Written by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense), five people are stuck in a broken elevator – is one of them the Devil?

Saturday October 22nd, 9pm – Vehicle 19 (2013)

The late Paul Walker stars a convict on parole who inadvertently gets the wrong rental car and finds a phone, a gun, and a kidnapped woman inside. This puts him on the run from corrupt the police.

Sunday October 11th, 9pm – 12.10am The Vintage Vault

Legend continues to celebrate the Golden Age of genre cinema with a season of double bills. This week, there are a pair of fifties classics. First up the superb Fiend Without a Face (1958), in which invisible creatures are born from telekinesis. If you think an invisible enemy is a cop-out, wait until you see them manifest at the climax! Hammer’s first colour horror film follows with The Curse of Frankenstein (1957), with Peter Cushing as the bad doctor and Christopher Lee as his imposing creation.
