Magic and witchcraft is real in the modern-day in this attempt to liken those practising to immigrants. Written and directed by Elle Callahan and starring Lost’s Elizabeth Mitchell.
Thursday February 3rd, 10.50pm – The Dead 2 (2013)
Howard and Jonathan Ford’s zombie sequel moves the action from Africa to India where things are just as bleak. An engineer attempts to get back to his expecting partner.
Friday February 4th, 1am Doghouse (2020)
Knockabout horror-comedy from director Jake West (Razor Blade Smile) starring a host of well-known faces including Danny Dyer and Stephen Graham. A lads’ weekend goes wrong when they arrive at a village overrun with zombies. Keep an eye open for Emily Booth as one of the vicious undead. The perfect film to settle down to when you get in from the pub.
Saturday February 5th, 9pm – The Midnight Man (2006)
An innocent game gets out of hand when a group of friends accidentally summon a creature that uses their fears against them. Directed by Travis Zariwny, who helmed the 2016 Cabin Fever.
Sunday February 6th, 6.40pm – The Revenge of Frankenstein (1958)
Classic Hammer as the legendary Terence Fisher directs the first sequel to the studio’s version of the Mary Shelley tale. Character actor Michael Gwynn plays the creature this time, as Peter Cushing’s doctor has managed to evade the guillotine.
