We have some more great picks from what’s on this week on Horror Channel….

Monday March 7th, 11am – Sinbad Double Bill
Classic Swashbuckling entertainment with two helpings of Sinbad adventures that highlight the amazing stop-motion effects work of Ray Harryhausen. Starting with The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958), in which Kerwin Matthews stars as the hero facing off against the cyclops amongst other terrifying foes. This is followed by the last of the trilogy, Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977), which features The Duke’s son Patrick Wayne in the lead role and the Second Doctor, Patrick Troughton, who plays the alchemist who aids our hero. Unmissable fun.

Wednesday March 9th, 9pm – The Stakelander (2016)
A sequel to the 2010 film Stake Land, this is a post-apocalyptic nightmare with vampires, cannibals, and cults.

Thursday March 10th, 6pm The Prisoner
The classic ‘60s series finally lands on Horror Channel so a whole new audience can revel in its genius (or scratch their heads in puzzlement). Patrick McGoohan is the secret agent who is kidnapped to ‘The Village’ when he tries to resign. (Also screens at 10am weekdays with a Saturday omnibus.)

Friday March 11th, 10.35pm – A Good Woman is Hard to Find (2019)
Sarah Bolger plays the titular lady who’s forced into desperate and deadly measures when her husband is killed in cold blood. A local thug decides to hide some stolen money at her flat dragging her into a spiral of nastiness. A superb thriller.

Saturday March 12th, 9pm – Await Further Instructions (2018)
A family’s Christmas goes from awkward to horrifying in this impressive sci-fi horror. Directed by the late Johnny Kevorkian and starring Sam Gittins and David Bradley, this is a seasonal shocker that’s worth a watch at any time of year. You can read our report from the set of the film here.
