Prime Video’s hit video game series adaptation Fallout returns for Season 2, the teaser trailer for which has just been released.
In Fallout, “200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.”
Season two will pick up immediately after season one’s finale and “take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.”
Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are the showrunners of “Fallout,” which has already received a third season order.
The cast includes Yellowjackets’ Ella Purnell as our protagonist Lucy, Twin Peaks‘ Kyle MacLachlan as her father and Vault overseer, Aaron Moten as Maximus, a squire of the Brotherhood of Steel, Walton Goggins as The Ghoul aka Cooper Howard, a Red Skull-looking gunslinger and bounty hunter who has been alive since before the bombs fell, and more. Joining the cast is Justin Theroux as a nuke-dropping New Vegas ruler — and the biggest of big-bads in the RPG — Mr. House.
The second season debuts on the streaming platform on December 17th.
