Prime Video is bringing the incredibly popular Fallout video games to the small screen in this live-action television series, which is expected to premiere on April 11th. The new trailer ushers viewers into a chaotic world of mutants, monsters, gore, and apocalyptic destruction set against the savage Wasteland of a devastated Los Angeles.

In Fallout, “200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters called the Vaults are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind – and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.”

The cast includes Yellowjackets’ Ella Purnell as our protagonist Lucy, Twin Peaks‘ Kyle MacLachlan as her father and Vault overseer, Aaron Moten as Maximus, a squire of the Brotherhood of Steel, Walton Goggins as The Ghoul aka Cooper Howard, a Red Skull-looking gunslinger and bounty hunter who has been alive since before the bombs fell, and more. Jonathan Nolan (brother of Christopher) directs the show’s pilot episode, while Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as showrunners for the series.

All eight episodes of the Fallout series will release at once to Prime Video on April 11th, 2024. In the meantime, watch the full series trailer below:
