Trio of top YouTubers announced for London Comic Con’s VidfestUK

Like YouTube? Love online video? Then brace yourselves for VidfestUK, returning to MCM London Comic Con this May. Slomozovo’s Chris Bingham, ChewingSand’s Hazel Hayes and Unlocked creators Cheesemint Productions are the first of a host of top YouTubers to be announced for VidfestUK, so keep your eyes peeled for more news soon!

• CHRIS BINGHAM / SLOMOZOVO – Director, producer and presenter of online video, ‘Bing’ runs hit YouTube comedy channel Slomozovo, as well as his more personal Bingradio and most recently the opinion and discussion channel TALK. He also publishes an indie comic, which will be on sale at London Comic Con, and is part of the I’m Actin’ Here! iOS game team. Channel: www.youtube.com/slomozovo

• HAZEL HAYES / CHEWINGSAND – ChewingSand is a mishmash of vlogs, songs and comedy sketches by sassy Irish lady Hazel Hayes. She has just made her first short film, Super Brainy Zombies, which was part-funded by fans and features some of the UK’s top YouTubers. Channel: www.youtube.com/chewingsand

• UNLOCKED / CHEESEMINT PRODUCTIONS – Norwich-based Cheesemint Productions create short films, sketches and their popular comedy web series Unlocked, which is set in a world where video game elements are the norm but the social drama is all too familiar. Channel: www.youtube.com/cheesemint
