Khaleesi and Han Solo? Yes, you heard right.

Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm have confirmed that Emilia Clarke has indeed boarded their upcoming Solo-centric Star Wars Story effort. The Game of Thrones and Terminator: Genisys actress joins a cast that includes Alden Ehrenreich as the young Han Solo and Donald Glover as the young Lando Calrissian, although Clarke’s role itself is being kept under wraps for now.

The official statement on this new addition reads:

Emilia Clarke is heading to a galaxy far, far away – and she’s going to meet Han and Chewie. Clarke, known for her stirring portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, will join the upcoming untitled Han Solo Star Wars movie. Clarke’s role will round out a dynamic cast of characters that Han and Chewie will encounter on their adventures.

As mentioned, the title of this Solo-driven feature has yet to be revealed, but the film will be the second of the Star Wars Story run of movies that begins next month with Gareth Edwards’ Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

From a script from Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan, the film will focus on how Han Solo came to be the roguish scruffy-looking nerf-herder we were first introduced to in Mos Eisley back in 1977. The LEGO Movie’s Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are on directing duties, with the film set for a May 25th, 2018 release.
