In the aftermath of San Diego Comic-Con came the news that Mr. Terrific was to appear in the upcoming Season 4 of Arrow. Well the show has now found somebody to fill the role.

EW reports that Echo Kellum, best known for roles in Ben and Kate and Sean Saves the World, has signed on to play a seemingly new version of the character called Curtis Holt. In the DC comic book world, Michael Holt is one of the people who have taken on the Mr. Terrific moniker, so Arrow’s version of the character may take some of its cues from that character. As well as working closely with Emily Bett Rickards’ Felicity Smoak, Curtis Holt will also be an openly gay character.

Comic book-wise, Mr. Terrific is general amazing at near-enough everything and uses floating T-Spheres to combat the bad guys.

Arrow’s Season 4 debuts in the US on October 7th, with a UK return expected to follow shortly after.
