After dropping an awesome trailer earlier in the week, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has now found itself a UK home.

To the surprise of no one, the show will air on Sky 1 in the UK, which makes perfect sense given how Legends of Tomorrow shares the same universe as Arrow and The Flash, both of which call Sky 1 home, too.

On the news, Sky 1’s Adam MacDonald said, “Hot on the heels of the amazing success of Supergirl, I’m really pleased to announce that another exciting comic-book drama is coming to the channel. From the team behind our three best-loved superhero shows and with a great high-profile cast, there’s real pedigree behind DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. And it’s set in the same world as The Flash and Arrow, too, so it couldn’t be more suited to Sky 1. Our customers are going to love it.”

Plot-wise, Legends of Tomorrow sees Rip Hunter arrive from the future in order to put together a ragtag team of ‘legends’ in order to take down time-travelling immortal uber-rogue Vandal Savage. Joining Rip will be The Atom, White Canary, Firestorm, Hawkgirl, Hawkman, Captain Cold, and Heat Wave.

The show is set for a US debut on January 21st, although the UK airing date has yet to be confirmed by Sky. Chances are, it’ll likely be the following week if the pattern of Arrow and The Flash is followed.
