Another week, another DC comic book villain added to FOX’s GOTHAM. This time out, the rogue in question is The Dollmaker. Deadline is reporting that Colm Feore, seen in last year’s THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 (but don’t hold that against him) and also 2011’s THOR, has landed the role.

In GOTHAM, the man behind the Dollmaker moniker will be Dr. Francis Dulmacher, described as having “zealotry bordering on madness, and aided by his genius-level intellect and vast medical expertise.”

The comic book version of The Dollmaker debuted in 2011’s DETECTIVE COMICS #1, where he’s known as Barton Mathis. In terms of key moments in the character’s history, he saw his father killed by James Gordon, leading to him wearing his pop’s skin as a mask. Additionally, he also cut off The Joker’s face. In terms of live-action, The Dollmaker also appeared, as played brilliantly by Michael Eklund, in one of the very best episodes of The CW’s ARROW.
