With its second season confirmed for next year, Stranger Things has moved to bring comedian Brett Gelman in to the fold.

The Hollywood Reporter has word that Gelman will be playing “a disgraced journalist-turned-conspiracy theorist who is investigating a cold case in the small Indiana town.”

This is just the latest new addition for one of this year’s most must-see shows, with Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Linnea Berthelsen, Dacre Montgomery, Rob Morgan and Sadie Sink having previously been confirmed for Season 2. These new faces join returning names in the shape of Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Winona Ryder.

Stranger Things’ second season will hit Netflix at a TBC date next year, and the action will pick things up in 1984, a year after the events of the show’s debut season.
