Fox Studios has been juggling with the scheduled releases of some of its most anticipated upcoming releases. The ASSASSIN’S CREED movie, originally scheduled for an August 2015 release, has been postponed. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the film, starring Michael Fassbender, won’t be ready for a long time. The script has undergone significant rewrites and encountered scheduling problems during development.

Snapping up the August ’15 release is Josh Trank’s FANTASTIC FOUR reboot, instead of its initial June premier. With the slew of Marvel and DC movies expected over the next six years (forty!), each is going to have to work overtime to stand out from the rest, especially following the game changing GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY earlier this year.
