The Hollywood Reporter has word that the ASH VS. EVIL DEAD series has found two new cast members. DEXTER’s Ray Santiago and CALIFORNICATION’s Dana DeLorenzo are joining the show.

Santiago’s role will be Pablo Simon Bolivar, who is an immigrant that ends up becoming a sidekick to Bruce Campbell’s Ash. With Campbell himself revealing how Ash is now at a stage where he doubts himself as a hero, Pablo is a firm believer in Ash. As for DeLorenzo, she’ll play a moody wild child called Kelly Maxwell. Apparently trying to outrun her past, she winds up being dragged into Ash and Pablo’s fight against the Deadites.

Being developed by Starz, ASH VS. EVIL DEAD will be made up of ten 30-minute episodes. Production is set to start production in spring ahead of a planned debut towards the end of the year. Sam Raimi will be directing the pilot as well as sharing writing duties with Ivan Raimi and Tom Spezialy.
