With that Christmas thingy now in our rear-view mirrors, 2015 is etching ever closer. One of the more hotly-anticipated movies of next year is Marvel Studios’ Phase Three opener, Peyton Reed’s ANT-MAN. Today brings the appearance of some new promotional art for that particular film, along with some technical specifics on the film’s first trailer.

First up, the concept art (if not a tad on the small side – no pun intended), as shown below, which shows out titular hero as well as giving a first look at the villain of the piece, Yellowjacket. As it happens, the look of the villain just so happens to match up with an earlier leaked shot which claimed to be the suit used worn by Yellowjacket in the film.

As for the trailer details, it’s said that the footage will run for 1 minute 48 seconds and has been classified PG. Whilst no exact date has been given, it’s believed that the trailer will debut sooner rather than later, with some speculating that it could even be with us as early as the end of this week or early next week.

The official word on the film reads:

“Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.”

ANT-MAN is currently set for a July 17th release.
