Marvel Studios has finally released its official trailer for the highly-anticipated Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, the third instalment in the Ant-Man series and the feature that will launch the Marvel Cinematic Universe into Phase 5!
The upcoming film reunites with Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne/Wasp with their families – Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer’s Janet Van Dyne, and Scott’s daughter Cassie played by Kathryn Newton – as they accidentally open access to the Quantum Realm and get sucked into this fantastical, “secret universe beneath ours”.
Even more exciting is the trailer’s formal introduction of Jonathan Major’s Kang (not the same Kang as the one introduced in Loki, remember). Kang is set to be an important part of the MCU’s future, potentially becoming the next Big Bad Marvel’s heroes have to defeat – something which the 2025 film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty title certainly suggests.
