In some news that will put a smile on the face of many, it’s being reported that Angela Lansbury is in talks to join Game of Thrones.

This news comes courtesy of Bild, who report that the Murder, She Wrote and Bedknobs and Broomsticks star is in talks to “play a guest role in two episodes” of Thrones’ upcoming seventh season. In fact, the guest role is believed to only require four days of shooting.

There’s no details whatsoever at this stage on just which role Lansbury is in talks for, but expect more on all of this as it develops.

Season 7 of Game of Thrones will arrive next summer.
