Skydoll is an Italian comic series that was first published in 2000. Skydoll Decade is the collected works of the series from 2000-2010. It’s a translation of the original series. This collection brings together three of the original stories from the Skydoll series. It also features the prequel Doll’s Factory, as well as a separate story called Heaven Dolls.

The first three volumes in the collection are The Yellow City, Aqua and The White City. The series follows the story of Noa, a Sky Doll with an unusual personality who seems connected with the religious Agape. The story takes place in the backdrop of a large conflict. The religious Agape has been banished, which has resulted in Lodovica coming into power and controlling the galaxy. Noa, who is an android who serves the states desires, becomes entangled on a mission to destabilize the Agape followers. However, as the series progresses we see that Noa is not just an ordinary Sky Doll.

This collection is in hardback and contains 232 pages of stories and bonus content. The prequel, Doll’s Factory, shows the creation of Noa, whilst Heaven Doll focuses on Sky Doll’s in general. This series has become increasingly popular in the 15 years since its creation. Titan Comics is allowing English fans a great jumping on point to the series, with 10 years’ worth of Skydoll stories in one collection. The popularity of the series can be seen in the ‘Homages’ section of the collection, which shows artistic tributes to the series.

This collection collects all the essential content in the first ten years of the series and collects them into a deluxe hardback addition. This graphic novel will allow new fans to enjoy the series, whilst giving existing fans the chance to obtain the series in a deluxe format. The story is very original and highly entertaining, whilst the artwork is stunning. The transition between each volume contains full pages of the Sky Dolls and is truly beautiful. Titan Comics has yet again found a great comic series. It’s a sci-fi series full of emotional entanglements, religious conflicts and the exploration of love. This is a great collection from Titan Comics. An entertaining fun adventure series.
