Disney+’s animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch will premiere its second season this autumn, it was announced yesterday during the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim.

The series centres on the ragtag group of ‘defective’ and experimental clones – first introduced in The Clone Wars – whose skills are off-the-charts for any breed of soldier. In order to stand up to the newly-risen Galactic Empire, the Bad Batch must get up to speed with the rest of the Galaxy, or die with the past. The animated show follows as the crew take on mercenary missions in search of a new purpose. The Bad Batch was renewed for a second series in August 2021 just ahead of the first season finale. The animated show sees the crew take on mercenary missions as they struggle to find a new purpose after the Clone Wars

The returning voice cast includes Dee Bradley Baker, Archie Panjabi, Freddie Prinze Jr., Seth Green, Michelle Ang, Rhea Perlman, Bobby Moynihan, Taran Killiam, and more.
