Welcome once again to the movie marketplace that is Watto’s Emporium, which rounds up some of the best merch that we found across the online galaxy this week. And as Captain America: Civil War is finally in cinemas now (check out whether we thought it was a Civil Bore or Civil Phwoar right here), this week’s ensemble is influenced by the Russo Brothers’ anticipated new Marvel blockbuster. So grab the essentials and join us for another stroll through the civil store that is Watto’s Emporium…

Captain America is defined by his principles and his patriotic pride but it helps that the guy also lobs a huge shield around. And if you have always felt that the kids bedroom- or yours- could do with being drawn closer to the shield slinging set pieces, then head on over to forbiddenplanet.com, where you can find this nifty Captain America inspired 3D Wall Light. Essentially making it look like Cap has lobbed his favoured weapon/defence into your wall, albeit we wonder what we could have possibly done to deserve it, the light is well designed and a glowing show of support for anyone on the side of Team Cap.

Speaking of glowing, Tony Stark/Iron Man may have an ego the size of the Lake District but he has an intellect to match and many people are seeing his point. So if you are of the Iron Man persuasion and a part of Team Tony, why not show off the man himself with this cool shirt available over at beltsbucklestees.com? In the past Tony has had his own in-built light but with this shirt you can have your own. Decorated with the image of the steel star (is that suit steel? Oh, we digress), this shirt also glows in the dark, making your torso every bit as bright as your future…unless of course you also happen to be in a war of attrition with a fellow hero that is.

In Civil War, friendships will crumble, patriots will fight and no doubt the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be given another shake-up, as Captain America and Iron Man seem to be at loggerheads. So, this all poses a question, whose side are you on? So assemble team Stark, gather team Cap and head over to Merchoid.com and get kitted out for war, or perhaps more realistically, online back and forth debating. The site features a range of gear, available for pre-order, based on this third Captain America film (well technically it is more but who’s counting anymore, The Avengers appear in each others movies all the bloody time, screen hogging sods). Our favourites are these two hoodies, – one representing the metal millionaire, the other embodying the nationalistic nobleman- both equally faithful to the characters. It may be even harder choosing which one to own, than it is to pick who you are rooting for onscreen.
