Having appeared regularly throughout Season 1 of Marvel’s Netflix-exclusive Daredevil, Rosario Dawson will be returning for Season 2 of the Guardian Devil show.

As well as Daredevil, Marvel Entertainment has also confirmed that Dawson’s new deal will allow her character of Claire Temple to appear in A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Essentially this world’s version of Night Nurse, the character could certainly come in handy in the other shared universe shows.

On the news, Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb said, “After working with Rosario in the first season, we knew instantly that we had to have her back for our second. Claire Temple proved a fan favourite in Season 1, and we can’t wait for fans to see all the plans we have for her next.”

Season 2 of Daredevil has already been confirmed for next year, but before that we have A.K.A. Jessica Jones arriving later this year and then also Luke Cage and presumably Iron First next year. All four titular heroes will then be teaming up in The Defenders.
