Many have talked about how overly-crammed Warner Brothers are making their DC Cinematic Universe so soon… but that still doesn’t stop us getting all kinds of excited when new footage arrives in order to showcase certain heroes.
Last night saw Geoff Johns and Kevin Smith host The Dawn of the Justice League, a show that was designed to, you guessed it, get people up to speed with members of the Justice League before the team smashes on to the big screen over the next few years. The seeds for this will all be planted in March’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which features major roles for Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, plus smaller roles and cameos for Aquaman, Cyborg and supposedly The Flash.
The Johns and Smith-hosted Dawn of the Justice League not only brought the first footage from Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman, it also gave us our first look at the concept art for The Flash and Cyborg, not to mention interviews with Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg).

Of course, as well as debuting in Batman v Superman and then coming together for Zack Snyder’s two-part Justice League adventure, all of these heroes have their own movies lined up in the future. In fact, the current release schedule for the DCCU looks a little like this:
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – March 25th
Suicide Squad – August 5th
Wonder Woman – June 23rd, 2017
Justice League Part One – November 17th, 2017
The Flash – March 23rd, 2018
Shazam – April 5th, 2019
Justice League Part Two – June 14th, 2019
Cyborg – April 3rd, 2020
Green Lantern Corps – June 19th, 2020
Added to that, it’s believed that there’s at least one Batman solo movie on the way, possibly titled The Batman and possibly co-written and directed by Ben Affleck, and there’s also speculation that the Man of Steel himself, Superman, could be getting another solo big screen outing.
