Currently wowing audiences in BIRDMAN (seriously, if you’ve not seen it yet, make it a priority), Michael Keaton is a long-time favourite of many a genre fan. Now comes word, via Deadline, that Keaton is being lined up for a role in KONG: SKULL ISLAND.
The report says that Keaton is currently in talks to join the cast of Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ Kong movie. The story will be set on the titular island home of the famed ape, as a group of explorers venture into the unknown. If Keaton does end up signing on, he’ll join a cast that currently includes Tom Hiddleston and J.K. Simmons.
KONG: SKULL ISLAND is currently set for a March 10th, 2017 release.
