Fans have been calling for it, and now Warner Bros. Animation has moved to confirm that Young Justice will return for a third season.

The animated series proved to be a huge hit with fans pretty much as soon as it debuted back in 2010. Featuring the likes of Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, Superboy, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Aqualad, Artemis, Miss Martian, Blue Beetle, Beast Boy, Speedy, Wonder Girl, and Impulse, the show focussed on these famous young heroes (don’t call them sidekicks!) as they looked to prove themselves to their mentors.

On the series returning for a third season, Warners Sam Register said, “The affection that fans have had for Young Justice, and their rallying cry for more episodes, has always resonated with us. We are excited to bring the show back for this loyal fanbase and to provide an opportunity for new viewers to discover this excellent series.”
