Can you think of a more impressive debut picture than Get Out? It’s certainly a tough task, and because of that Oscar-winning debut, many a genre fan are eagerly anticipating director Jordan Peele’s follow-up, Us. And now, we have some new casting news for that film.

As per Deadline, The Get Down’s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (who will soon be seen as the nefarious Black Manta in James Wan’s Aquaman) and 24: Legacy’s Anna Diop (who will similarly soon be seen as Starfire in Titans) have joined the film.

Abdul-Mateen II and Diop join an impressive cast that currently consists of Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, and Tim Heidecker.

Plot-wise, all that we know about Us to date is that it will focus on two couples – one black, one white. Other than that, everything else is being kept extremely hush-hush right now.

Jordan Peele is again on writing and directing duties here, following nabbing an Oscar for his stunning debut, the aforementioned Get Out.

At present, Us is set for a March 15th, 2019 release.
